In Ayurveda, we are a microcosm of the macrocosm, meaning the same elements that shape the Universe also exist within each of us. Thus we are ever changing. As the seasons shift, the dominant Doshas (bio energies): Kapha in spring, Pitta in summer, and Vata in fall and winter shift as well, bringing changes that directly affect not just our skin, but our balance and wellness - emotionally, mentally and physically. The Doshas accumulate during their respective seasons, they accumulate during certain times of day and even during different phases of life. This accumulation can cause imbalance in the body and mind.
Certain rituals need to be created, cultivated and sustained in order to help us stay balanced, healthy, and radiant through all life’s changes.
How this looks from the Doshic perspective.
Kapha imbalance may bring congestion, dullness, stubbornness and attachment and may call for gentle cleansing, detoxification and more vigorous movement.
Pitta imbalance may increase heat, inflammation, irritation and even obsession requiring cooling loving care of the mind and body.
Vata may bring dryness, sensitivity, restlessness and a sense being “ungrounded” and will need deep hydration, pause, touch and warmth.
The Circle of Radiance is a monthly group based offering that helps you to keep the Doshas balanced as well as supporting you in creating, cultivating and sustaining simple yet powerful rituals. These rituals uplift the brilliance of your outer skin while cultivating true and lasting beauty that shines forth from your inner light. Through this platform we come together to reset and refocus our attention and intention on the tools and practices that truly build a beautiful life!

Just as a sustained exercise routine is the key to feeling and seeing a difference in the physique of the body a beautiful life of balanced wellness and glowing skin happens only through daily practice. As a COR subscriber you will meet with me and a small group of authentic beauty seekers on a monthly basis throughout the calendar year. Our 75 minutes together will be a time rich with skin care wisdom, mindfulness, creativity and other ritual building activities.
What’s Included:
Three tiers: Yearly, 6 month or One Time/As Desired. Each session is 75 minutes, held virtually with a group capped at 20 participants.
September, October, November + December Vata Season Focus: Deeply nourishing and grounding skin care rituals, mindfulness practices, movement and creativity.
May, June, July + August Pitta Season Focus: Cooling and soothing skin care rituals, mindfulness practices, movement and loving acts.
January, February, March + April Kapha Season Focus: Detoxifying and balancing skin care rituals, mindfulness practices, energizing movement and play.

It is considered a “sister science” to the path of Yoga and works primarily with wellness on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It is centers around Dosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) theory, Gunas (Qualities), Ojas (natural immunity) Prana (life force), Agni (digestive fire), the rhythms of nature and our connection/interconnection with the natural world.

No, personalized care is not offered in the Circle of Radiance membership. COR is designed to support individuals and the group on their skin and wellness journeys through the Doshas of the seasons, times of day and times of life as well as through other general Ayurvedic, ancient wisdom and holistic wellness principles.

In the West we tend to be disconnected from the rhythms of nature. When we begin to explore our daily lifestyle choices through the lens of Yoga and Ayurveda we usually want to change our daily lifestyle habits. We want to reconnect with nature. This change comes with a sense of inspiration and relief. Our relationship to the food that we eat isn’t always simple. In the West we tend to eat for reasons other than hunger. When we begin to look at our diet through the lens of Ayurveda (and our unique Doshic constitution) we usually want to change our eating habits. This change comes with a sense of inspiration and relief. Ayurveda does not promote toxic dieting culture. In my practice I pay close attention to ancestral/traditional/local food biomes when making recommendations and creating protocols.
